My 2 ducks have been increasingly more overweight. They are starting to devlop a big keel. Is their any dietary changes that could help this? I feed them 2 rimes a day bwcause they are very hungry

If they're hungry but you feel they are obese I would consider adding my fiber rich foods such as cut grass, hay, kale etc.

I would also consider adding a bit more protein in their diet (free time foraging for bugs, dried lentils, low fat dairy such as yogurt or kefir). Protein consumption tells bodies that they are full.

Ok, for standard the keel shouldn't drag on the ground, but it shouldn't be so super thin either. The keel needs to be about and inch or 2 from the ground if your going by the standard identifications for shows.

For weight loss, if it is a large issue, be sure that they are getting a proper diet and proper amounts of food. What all are you feeding them?
