Pekin Rescue still healing

Her feet are scaly and dry with cracks all over her legs and feet one large old scale was hanging off her foot and when I removed it there was a hole clear through the web on her foot it was all healed size of a nail hole ?? What is good for scaly feet and legs I rub them with neosporin and udder cream now her ankles are still swollen but I will keep treating her

Do you have any chickens around? Does your duck still get swimming time? It could be scaly leg mites. I have heard ducks who are sick can be prone to that... And it swells up legs.

Where she came from had alot of chickens and they shared living space how do you get rid of them ??? I appreciate all of your help I tried to send u a msg but couldn't

A classic treatment seems to be vaseline. Vaseline is extremely inert and is what I'd suggest right now if you're not sure if it's mites since it also hydrates the skin. Gently wash the birds legs then smother them in vaseline. If it's mites this will suffocate the mites. If it's just dried out it'll hydrate the skin releaving itching and making the legs less scaley.

I learned something new! And how would ducks get these mites?

Ducks can get mites from other poultry or even from wild birds.

I haven't heard of ducks getting scaley leg mite but you never know! :) Either way, the Vaseline is a good suggestion.
