Pekin with brown feathers

I’m new to ducks and am wondering whether or not my pekin duckling’s reddish/brown feathers are normal since I find it strange for them to have feathers any other color than yellow/white. I’m also concerned since she’s almost 4 weeks but already looks like an old duck.

Looks like it's a either a mixed breed or a different type of duck entirely. At that age when their feathers are just coming in they do look funny. It's like awkward pre teen age for ducks.
That part is normal.
It will eventually get all it's feathers in and look normal, then it will go through a juvenile molt and get it's adult feathers.

the last picture looks like your duck could be an Indian Runner - Fawn but I know it's not.. It's a Pekin 100%..

That is strange, I'm fairly new to ducks too, I've had 5 for 1 year now one a Pekin and her feathers never turned a brown always a yellow for 4 weeks then she started to grow her white feathers...

That is pretty strange.. How is she/him doing so far?

Do you have an update on this? My supposed pekins are growing the same brownish feathers and I'm wondering if yours ended up being buff ducks or a different breed?
