At what age will my ducks start laying eggs? How do you tell the sex of pekins? This is my first year with ducks.

Females only have a quack. Males have a husky sounding voice. Also the males will develop a curly drake feather. My drakes are alot bigger than my females as well.

As far as egg laying, they can start to lay eggs around 4 months old.
