I have seen this, and it's usually because of tumors or infection.

I wanted to let you know what happened- I was able to drain her with a Butterfly Needle and Syringe- Wanted to try what ever I could because she still is eating and seems happy - just uncomfortable .
She also went on antibiotics - I was able to dain almost a cup - she is a littel fighter - but the sweetest duck I have ever had
