Peking Duck Won't Eat

Pics
Wet her feed to a soupy mix and add in if you can afford it? Baby food. Peas, etc...Or blend stuff up..
i made some more soup with her regular feed this afternoon she ignored it until I added some finely chopped greens she gobbled up about three tablespoons of it while I held her. That is most she has eaten at one time, I am so happy.
We have been helping her dip her bill into a deep bowl of water so she can drink deep and clear her nose herself and that seems to be helping a lot. Even though her bowls are up higher so she doesn't have to bend her it looks like she does better when we hold her and support her neck.
i have chronic neck pain myself so I understand how she feels.

No big changes since Friday. We put her in the tub today with her sister for motivation but she just floats and quietly coos. Her sister is so sweet gently nudging her around the tub. I put chopped romaine in the water and she nibbled a few pieces but without any gusto.
Feeding her is a frustrating, one day she will eat wet feed the next she hates it. One day she eats chopped greens, then hates it. Because of pain she has no appetite for more than a few nibbles here and there through out the day. She did gain a few ounces so that is one tiny victory I will cling too.
Aster in the front in the picture as you can see she can't pick her head up like she should and her eyes show her pain.

Aster is doing much better. We let her back outside with her sister to help motivate her and it has helped a lot.
It is has become clear that her neck is going to take a long time to heal but she is adapting to it. She still doesn't want to extend her neck down but she has figured out how to bow so she can lower her bill into deep water and clear her nose. She got into the kiddie pool by herself this morning which was a joy to see. The ducks will be getting their own yard this week which will help us control their feed, water and hopefully allow Aster a quite place to heal.
She is eating a lot more now too. She gobbled up a 1/3 cup of wet feed tonight. That is the most she has eaten a one time in a few weeks.
We had a powerful rain storm.today so she is enjoying the rain puddles and all the little bugs that popped up. Hopefully she will continue on this path.
