If they are meat birds...what is their life span usually?

We have one are daughter insisted on getting last spring so he is almost a year old.

I am gonna get him a diaper and leash so he can come in the house. He wants to so bad. I let him this evening when we were coming inside and first thing he does is poop on my wood floor so out he went. I have cream colored carpet through the house.

Mine are as old as my other ducks, they arent meat birds like a Cornish X or something. A lot more 'normal'

With a well balanced diet he could live well into his late teens.
