Pekins and Cayugas

Hi everyone, I’ve recently separated my 3 pekin drakes from my pekin female as they are now about 14 weeks old. I need to get another friend for my female and have found somebody local with a slightly younger Cayuga duck. Would they get along and be ok together? I don’t really know much about cayugas but are they friendly etc? Thanks

It seems all ducks can get along if introduced the right way. And everyone definitely will get along if tasty snacks are involved

I have Mix of all different ducks my Cayuga is the friendliest here is a picture of mrs wobbles and I find ducks are much easy to introduce then chickens

My pekin and cayuga got along fabulously. I didn't introduce them until they were adults, but they adored each other. I think each duck has their own personality which can be strongly influenced by environment. Your situation may not work out like mine did.
