Pellets for ducklings?

Haha, don't tell me that :) We started with a pair and when we lost one we added 3 more so no one would ever be left alone again. Now just two in the incubator...but wait, we own an incubator now...I think its happening to us too :th
:gig:lau
Guess what: A neighbor came by and asked me if i could hatch some ducklings for him, his cousin and his daughter. Fortunately no duck is broody nown and i don't have an incubator . . . yet!

Don’t blame it all on Katy..........someone had to whip out the credit card and order 15 ducklings from two hatcheries in the spring. I do not think even Blanca Duck is capable of such treachery .
It was so cold here and the ducklings look so warm, fuzzzy and cudddly and …

Your ducks are all so pretty and I'm sure would make some super cute ducklings! Sounds like your neighbor came to the right guy.
It's been a lot of fun incubating & watching them grow and move around inside the egg. Though there have been moments where I thought I really screwed things up...but still fun :)
We only have runners and I don't know that they will go broody for us, they have more important duck stuff to do :)
Keeping busy and patiently waiting here still.

Never say “ we only have Runners “ because Runners are the best.
Lol, yes they are pretty awesome. Never thought ducks would make me laugh so much :)
We got an external pip on egg #2 last night. The first egg started to make progress and then stopped. So I wake up a few times in the middle of the night to check on them and nothing. Get up this morning and nothing. Go make some coffee and come back, that little duckling is going bananas working on getting out. Hopefully in the next hour or so and before we have to head off to work.
