Pellets for ducklings?

Oh my, I can't imagine having giant runners! They get into enough trouble as it is, there would be no plant or flowerpot that would be safe. I always forget how small runners are until I see other ducks. There is a male. muscovy at a nearby park and he is just huge.
I hope your hatch goes well this weekend, would love to see the babies when they arrive :) We aren't sure what our babies will look like either, runners for sure but mixed colors.
Haha, then you don't want an incubator for sure...you'd have to turn the eggs (and they are very heavy) and candle them ( very time consuming) and count down the days till they hatch (who has the time?). Plus sit around and watch them hatch, blah. Did that help at all? :D
@WannaBeHillBilly Think of the money you'd save if you had an incubator! No shipping costs etc.

Haha, look at me just trying to push baby ducks on you :lau
That's awesome they get to raise them and you can visit whenever you want.
Poor confused chicken is probably wondering what went so terribly wrong with her eggs :)
Our blue runner was a medium grey color as a duckling but nowhere near as dark as that little one. Even the darker of our 2 is a chocolate brown now but I'm pretty sure will grow up to be black and white. Curious to see and of course they will be beautiful ducks.
idk Sara, Patches, who is from the same parents never was that color. He's very dark now with pretty violet wings, white patches on his belly and with an attitude that won't wait.

1st time in the big tub yesterday and they had a blast already diving and splashing all around :) Those tiny little wings make me laugh! Now if I could just get them to hold still so I can get some good pics.
