Pellets or crumble for bantams?

I just got back from buying some DuMor layer pellets. I didn't know how big the pellets would be though! My banties did try eating it and managed to get a few pieces down, but I'm wondering if it's too big.

I can always chop it up in the food chopper if I need to. Should I do that or will they adjust? I don't want them to choke!

My banties eat the pellet just fine.

We feed our Banties layer pellet, also.

I started them out on crumbles but they "billed" more of it out on the ground than they bothered to eat...which added up to alot of wasted feed.

Since switching them over to pellets, they don't bill them out like they did with the crumbles.

Our bantys are bad bad to beak sweep crumbles. They eat the pellet just fine. Hope that helps.

my banties prefer the crumble.. and usually wont eat the pellet unless i sprinkle water on it...
maybe i just have spoild birds
