Penguin seems sick

This maybe nothing I’d just watch. Don’t think I’d try pulling it out. Maybe @casportpony can rec? make sure the spray gets down to their skin. @casportpony would Ivermectin work on fleas?
Did you take out all bedding and be sure to dispose of it away from your home. Then spray down the inside of their coop and replace the bedding

I did not do that with the bedding yet but I will. As of this morning penguin doesn't seem to have any fleas anymore but the other ducks still do. I'm going to go over them carefully with a q tip

Once they are dead and dry you can scrape them off with your fingernail.

@casportpony would Ivermectin work on fleas?

I tried it once and it did work.

I think it might be nothing, took a closer look and Puffin actually does have the same thing.

I do have some ivermectin on hand, but the horse kind. I went over all of them carefully with the permethrin this morning with a q tip and also just sprayed each of their body and make sure it was rubbed around good.

Just went to douse them with the permethrin again, they all have less than they did this morning, but all still have some. Unfortunately Pipsqueak has the most, which really sucks because she is my least cooperative duck and makes it incredibly difficult for me. Might try and get some duck ivermectin tomorrow if just the permethrin isn't completely getting rid of them.

Also, not sure if it makes a difference, but penguin and Puffin are still on their medicine which is supposed to be an antibiotic and an anti parasitic

The anti parasitic is most likely for internal parasites.
Unless you get rid of your bedding and spray down your coop on the inside you won't get rid of them. Probably should use permethrin dust for their yard too. I've never had sticktight fleas but mites and this was the only way of getting rid of them along with treating the chickens.

I got rid of all the bedding and sprayed everything down very well, leaving it beddingless until they are all gone. Just ordered some permethrin dust should be here on Monday I will use it if it is still an issue on Monday

They definitely have wayyy less today. I gave them all another douse of permethrin but esch one only had like 2-4 noticeable fleas. Spraying the area down with my permethrin twice a day as well, managed to spray it down well enough that there isn't a single ant in my dish of mealworms lol, hopefully it will be enough.
