Are there good reasons to pen male and female juvenile peafowl from 2011 hatch separately? I have 2 female and 4 male together. My only 100% Green male chick that hatched is plucking feathers out of an India Blue female's neck. I have another 4 - 75% Green (1 female, 3 male) with 3 older birds. If I put all the juvenile by sex together. I'd have 6 males in a 10' by 30' pen and 5 females in another of same size....each has 20' of log roosts. Are the pens large enough for that many birds? Thanks much.
