Can you tell the goblers from the hens at the age you are taking them? I will give cash before you go, to anyone who would be willing to pick up a max of 4 birds, including some gas money. Also, i still don't know if anyone will have goslings at the swap and what they want for two?? I don't care what the breed is. Please let me know. Thanks

No goslings available, but I have a spare gander if he doesn't sell tomorrow at the swap.

Are you going to Galgo's swap/picnic? Just wondering how we would get him all the way over here.. I know right now I can not drive that far (to where you are) hubby has to fix my car, it needs brakes bad and doesn't always want to start.. He has his work cut out for himself with it this time poor guy.. What would you be asking for him if he doesn't sell at the swap you are going to? Sorry for the complicated questions I just am at a loss right now with what to do.. Thanks

Are we still allowing chicks? I think the age agreed on was a few weeks, or any chick not introduced to other birds/coops.
Anyway, I have a broody that is due the 18th. Just mutt chicks, but probably EE. If we are doing chicks, phow do you keep a chick warm for the whole day? Hope for a warm day, and have plenty of bedding? Have a heat lamp on the bike?

 

I don't think I ever gave a specific response to this so.... Yes, birds up until 2 weeks old and eggs are fine. Birds will be kept in your own cages in a designated area. No adult birds of any kind allowed, sorry my birds live here too.
