Hi, I would like to invite everyone to the 3rd annual Clearfield Bird Swap. This event is sponsored by the Pennsylvania Aviary society. It will be held at the Clearfield Fair grounds on May the 22nd at 9:00 am until 1:00pm. There will be chicks, Eggs, And adult birds of all kinds for sale. Stop in and look around. There will also be food and drinks available. There is no charge for buyers! There will be a small fee if to sell birds if you aren't a club member. This is all the info I have right now If anyone has any more feel free to post. I am from bedford county Pa South central.

Hello PA peeps! Im Erin

Im *just* outside NE Philli, in Cheltenham. Currently a chicken mommie to 9 chicks...hopefully all females! lol
Were new to BYC, and very excited to watch our chicks grow. My older 2 kids have mad a "chicken chores list" that kind of surprised me, but ill take it.
So I have this flock, yet I have NO idea who is what breed. I know what breeds I bought, but Ill be dammed if I can figure out who is what, with the exception of the Silkie & Java!
But were planning on going out to chickenstock to meet more chicken peeps. Should be fun fun fun!

Downingtown, Chester County. Just joined today after reading forum for the last week. Got new chicks at Pickering Valley Feed last weekend, 2 Americaunas, 2 Plymouth Barred Rocks and 2 Sicilian Buttercups. Haven't had chickens for almost 20 years, but the kids are grown and gone and my husband is building me a new chicken coop (hopefully predator-proof)! I used to have Rhode Island Reds and Silkies in the past, decided to try something new this time.

Pickering Valley Feed in Lionville is a great store, I've been going there almost since they opened since I used to breed and show dogs. Very helpful and will try to get stuff if they don't have it.
