LF...

and Sally... not a problem with muddy run, more a problem that it seems every time we let birds out to do their own exploring they find the muddiest spot ( or spot with most burrs!) to check out first! Mud isn't really much trouble otherwise.

ok, from the Cochins International page....

STANDARD WEIGHTS
Cock...............................11 lbs. Hen.......................................8 1/2 lbs.
Cockerel...........................9 lbs. Pullet..........................................7 lbs.

OH SO HAPPY to oblige!

The trifecta... blue, black, splash

What do you think Sally? Should that about do it???

Seriously. I LOVE the cochins!

And here are some of the wild things now (all but 2 mo old)

They are VERY friendly birds!
That's just not fighting fair!!

Quote: The walls aren't going all the way up to the roof, the frame isn't centered on the floor, there is no way to clean the left side of the coop (no door) and the snow is just blowing right in through the ventilation. The plexiglass is cracked, tilted and has no way of being attached to the top, bottom, or right side of the wall.
Now I have to add lips over the ventilation, and unscrew (I used screws in case something had to be changed. Yeay me!) a few walls to straighten them, and fasten them securely to the frame. The only reason it wasn't done before he got home was that I am afraid of his power tools and holding boards while trying to fasten them on is hard alone. It is a quick fix to be honest. I am just upset that I didn't stand firm in my decision.
Beaglady, please ignore my ranting. Please!

She flys/jumps to get in the covered area in the run, and then will step out on the snow and back in and repeat repeat repeat until she throws a skwakin fit for me to go put her in the pen!
