Things are much happier in my coop since Chicken Noodle Soup has been caged alone. The others are so much more comfortable without him terrorizing them.

Today is take 2 on the watering system. The first one was leaky and didn't give us the final product we were looking for. DH is outside fiddling around for try #2.

Some day we'll get to digging fence posts so that we can actually let the chickens out of the coop. Ha!

hubby did not get the things he went to auction for, but he got me one of these, no clue what it is but he said, there's a brooder for the barn, get them out of the house sooner...



guess he did good, he only paid $5 for it...

I am so sad,
I just sold 4 layer hens and 2 of the banty ameraucana to a friend. I said I was cleaning house and I meant it.

I think he was just tryng to smooth the ground before he pulled out what else he purchased........he paid $50 for a compound bow because he liked the case it was in......i am not sure he even knows how to use it...

It was wonderful to meet all the BYC members at the show! We came home with a black silkie chick from the silent auction.

This is getting old, looks like I have broody number three on the year. I only have 9 layers in that Coop! Now know why m egg production is down so much.
