So here are my little ones "Assorted Bantams" I got from TSC to keep lil baby Si company. Happy to say they are cuddling with him, and it was a good move. Just wish he could run and play with them. He does look good, though, and I honestly didn't think he would last, but he perks up at the sound of my voice, and loves being cuddled. he also seems to eat and drink after I come in.
Anyhow, ANY IDEA WHAT THESE MAY BE??? They are quite sweet and very pretty. All clean footed except 1.

I have been amazed at how tolerable the chickens have been to weird things.... the hen aprons bothered them for about a minute... then actied like they weren't even there, we used blinders on a couple of the hens and again, within a minute or two they just act like they aren't there.

Biggest hurdle I can think of with the capes would be preventing them from slipping off of one side or the other.... and the other hens making fun of them!

I'd prefer it to be in the garden than in his pants...the 2 yo is almost potty trained, don't need to be cleaning up after a full grown man.

The 2 in the front are laced something.
 

Instant raised beds........wonder if I could do a few tomatoes in these....they do not do well out in he field,,,,,to much fertilizer think..

greenhouse made with old windows......there's a big pile of these in the barn...
 
MC I thought of you today,,,,,when I went to stir the ff bucket it shot bubbles at me,,,,,,not sure if I was laughing at the bubbles or you....

first feeding of ff went well..



there's one of those round black rubber bowls under that pile of bids......I filled it with about 2 inches of ff,,,,,went back 15 minutes later and the bowl was empty,,,,,,,Think this went well.
