Quote: Ivermectin (cattle pour on) works the same. It's the exact same med as Frontline only MUCH cheaper. TSC caries the generic (namebrand is Ivomec) for $15 for a great big bottle that can be used on pretty much any of your animals (chicks, ducks, turkeys, cats, dogs, rabbits, etc.) & takes care of mites, lice, ticks & worms. I still have almost half of the bottle I bought a year ago (even after spilling some several times) so well worth the money. For an adult LF bird spread .5ML out over back of neck, under each wing & near vent. Banties & half grown babies are half that & babies are just a drop under each wing or on the back of the neck. I treat every bird I bring home plus (try to remember to) treat the rest of my birds once a month. Sometimes I forget.

Have not had a bug or worm problem since I found Ivermectin.

So it really works for longer than a month at a time but it's best to do it on a schedule.

I just cant get over how quiet it is!

DH is going to cull, pine cone the frizzle serama, he just cant trust him with harmony. sucks too but I pray its the last cull for a while!
I don't want to list him for sale, even saying he bit DH, just isn't right.

I wish you were closer, to help me figure out all these older chicks breeds from CPL, I know the CCL, and a few but I haven't a clue on the rest. A lot of them are banty and I don't have a banty coop : ( most will be sold but I need to know what they are first!

of course now that I have buttons in the bator someone sells them on CL! grrrrrr
