I took Patches wrap off tonight so she could relax in the water.... Before I even got it off I heard a pop sound... Her leg is not healing. I know shes in a lot of pain.... I am going to call another vet to see what they say... and a price and if they do payments... If things don't work out I may have to put her down. I am absolutly balling my eyes out. I feel so horrible!

Oh no, hopefully you can find a vet who takes payments.

Try checking with local rescues (or a local wildlife rehab) and see who they work with, sometimes the vets that work with rescues will take payments. I'll keep you and her in my thoughts

Yes Sally,,CPL is having a tough time, i changed the eggs that she owes me to chicks and babymakes6 is taking care of it, even then it could be late summer or fall.

those black bresse shipped out already this morning, and i got a second chance offer on the white bresse, naturally i took it, so if anything hatches i will have both white and black bresse,,,,,,if kept together what color would that put out ?

need to get on the ball and order those leg bands,,,,i am thinking spiral for year and a numbered bandette for more detailed records.....I MUST GET MORE ORGANIZED>>>>

those black bresse shipped out already this morning, and i got a second chance offer on the white bresse, naturally i took it, so if anything hatches i will have both white and black bresse,,,,,,if kept together what color would that put out ?

question for the locals within a half hour drive,,,,,,I would rather not order leg bands online, but can not find a store that carries them,,,all kinds of animal tags but no leg bands.....anyone know of a place that i can just run into when i need them..

second question.....there's an e-bay ad running for lots of different turkey eggs,,,,it is the midget whites i am interested in....anyway they are from montrose Pa, with the name of sweetcountryblossoms , anyone know who this is, if so could i get contact info, would like to try some of those eggs since they are local...

Some people also use the little elastic hair ties. When I need leg bands I take one of my daughters hair ties. She has a big pack of them with all kinds of different colors.

I was reading about it late last night till I almost fell asleep, you are right it does look super easy to do, will deff be giving it a go!!
