Lol some times even the hens fight.. oops, did I say that. Lol
No all kidding aside I would say your little bird there is a roo. The wattles are pretty large and have a lot of color to them and the comb is pretty big too. How old is it?

Is there any truth in " Roos tail feathers stick straight up and hens are curled down when they're teenagers"? I ask because 6 of my chickens, including the New Hampshire w two roo votes, has curled feathers and both my leg horns tail feathers stick straight up.

So, now who's bringing this to the high school level. I would like to remind you and tell everyone else on here what ACTUALLY happened. You purchased 2 of my one month old healthy goslings, then stayed at Roots Market all day and night with them without bringing any food or water with them in the back of your SUV with your children. Then the next day you posted THIS........ and tried to blame ME for his death. So, no, I am not going to welcome you into my home.

HELP!!!!! Gosling down, & throwing up!!! Update.. He died only a few minutes after I put this...

I know that PAchickenlover would NEVER intentionally EVER do anything to harm her birds. I have actually been to Roots market on many occasions with her and her children and she ALWAYS had food and water and we would be running around giving random birds that were parched water. She also revived MANY guinea pigs that were dying and dehydrated. The goslings/geese may have died, but I know that I have suffered losses of big birds and small. Some things are just out of our control. We should treat others in life with the same respect that we wish to be given.
