But first: One of my chickens was dust bathing and made a purring/ snoring sound. Is that normal?



Anyway. Ps. dont put too much weight on comb/ wattles since their parents are half unknown/ half had huge wattles. They are all 13-15 weeks.

Pretty sure this 1 is a boy.

Purring noises come from happy chickens just like from kittens. And yes, chickens do snore. Just stand outside the coop some night & listen.

And wow chickens purr? I honestly thought it was ill and got concerned.
