Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

I am betting skunk since it is digging, probably for grubs.

As for the walnut trees somebody was asking about, Walnut is a great hard wood. It is used for cabnets and the limbs make great firewood. If they were straight trees and fairly big with usable sections of say 6-8' I would cut them down and have somebody cut them into usable lumber. You can find people with portable sawmills that will come to you and cut them up. Black Walnut tree's are the bomb, Lovely colored wood.

Great looks like I will be buying a trap sooner rather than later. I'll see what tonights webcam recon produces first lol

lol thought you'd get a laugh out of it.

Speaking of pests, I am having some creature come at night in the garden I have right by the front of the house, digs a bit around my flowers (thankfully hasn't dug any out) and then it craps right on the front porch or over by the rocks that circle my other garden .... I am getting beyond annoyed with this going on

The first thing I want to see when I walk out the front in the morning is my flowers, not dirt and animal crap.

I am thinking I might have to get the webcam we have and sit it in the front window & record over night to find out what the heck it is.

Anyone else ever have this problem???
it might be a skunk looking for grubs, earlier this year we had skunks, husband went to feed in the morning, looked like someone had rotor-tilled the grass area in front of the barn. had so many grubs i guess that the female decided this was a nice place to have and raise her babies, they sure were cute little things but couldn't have them around sooooooooooooo

Yeah they are cute unfortunately but not something I need around - I did notice the other night when I opened the front door that there was that skunk smell but there was nothing around the yard, I look the flashlight out and had a look, guess it heard me coming.

I took the last part of the testing this morning and passed !!! So happy I finally have been able to get it done! Chad, Thank you for pointing me in this direction. It wouldn't have happened if you didn't share the info. on the testing in the first place. Now, I can make sure my birds, along with anyone Else's that is interested is healthy. The vet that covers this area, along with many others, was so nice. She spent 2 hours here, at my home, going over everything I need to know, she showed me the blood draw on one wing and I did the other three. She also had me do the cocial(sp?) and esophageal swabs. She had so much knowledge to share, I could have picked her brain all day!

Okay, Just wanted to share the good news with everyone, Hope you all are well...I really have to get caught up on this thing! - Danielle

I think I would go with something that would deter them from coming instead of a trap.  If you trap it somebody has got to get it out.   Even if you dispatch it in the cage, peeeeyou

ditto, just scare it outside your front door....I have been told there is wolverine urine available...(who know how they get it).....its supposed to scare of everything including bears.....
