I have noticed with my girls, (which are the same age as your girl) that they are spreading out a bit more when they forrage and they have different vocal calls to each other(and yes, they whine at me)...I attribute this because they are not chicks anymore...I have one GLW that layed three eggs and has stopped(at least for a few days)....my alpha girl has started coming up to me and likes being picked up(a new behavior)...so, with my limited knowledge, I'd suggest if you don't see a problem...just keep a eye. on her...my two cents...

Annie that link I posted is on cocci Sounds like your first description to the T. Sulfadumethoxine is the more effective sulfa drug for Cocci, Sulmet is also pretty effective
