I am a little disappointed.

The pullets that were promised are not available.........................then why were they promised!


I can go and pick up 2 birds tomorrow and then wait a few weeks and get some more


I really wanted to get them all at the same time because I thought it would be better for them ..............

Getting 2 and then having them adjust to a new place etc...............and then 2 weeks later adding 2 more chickens..................seems like a double transition.

Plus I was really excited to have them all tomorrow!

I don't like this process................

I was buying birds tomorrow but the seller kinda overpromised.................so now I am considering my options and feeling bummed

don't forget to quarantine them if you get them from different places

They said they were going to "acquire" 2 birds from a neighboring seller and said quarantine was not necessary.

I said that I read on here that it was...................so its kinda like there is some misinformation out there...........

I would do it regardless - if I ever get anymore chickens they will be quarantined from the rest of my girls. Just cause one place is fine, another might not be - better to be safe than sorry. I'd hate to get them finally and one have something the rest get

Wow, nothing says "Enjoy your heat and humidity" more than the now lingering smell of animal crap in the air - thank you Mr Farmer down the road

Finding someone reputable with multiple breeds of same age only pullets on such short notice is going to be very hard to find.
