to convert over...as you say..mmwaahahahaha...., but alas..I cannot...they are all 'earmarked' and 'in-use'...

***Wing- Every thing is relative, it all matters. Your situation is no-less important or irrelevant as anyone else's . You have to deal with it, therefore it is relevant. You are an incredible person who has alot to deal/live with too.

no brooder bra's here, poor birds would freeze
that is the perfect age to start spoiling the grand kids
Thanks Danielle, my situation may be real, but sometimes hearing what others are dealing with sometimes will put your own problems into a very different category..

Nope we never spoil our chicks!!! :lau

I love giving the girls new treats... there are always one or two brave enough to grab anything, and the rest circle you like you are holding a pit viper till they see someone else enjoying the treats! Then it's a free for all.

they are all like that?..thought mine were just really dense! hahahha...I will throw something in and if it's new..they run to it all excited like."OMG-YES", then stop so quick you would think an eyeball just POPed out of whatever i threw....and they walk away...like .."that is NASTY!!!" Whatever.

...i really don't try to figure them out anymore... just toss them some goodies, talk to them all nice and sweet..then walk away. When I come back out later...it is usually gone...usually...

have you ever heard of chickens that do NOT like corn?.cracked corn/dry any shape....well, I have 2 of them...won't touch it unless it is the only last resort thing to eat!..unless it is corn on the cob...whatever!

The cracked corn in our scratch is the last thing to be eaten... and like you said, it is only after they are sure there is nothing else around. Now corn on the cob??? Stand back! They attack cooked corn on the cob like rabid dogs and pieces and juice are flung everywhere! really amusing when someone tries to pick it up and run off with it, that never works unless we cut the cobs into pieces first, but they still try!

not for my girls....all mine are really scratch motivated....a true happy meal....on the cob or not....

Hey folks:

Two items...a) baby roo is no longer chirping and is going through a voice change...and for the first time, mama got all three babies back into the coop without me chasing them down...can I get an 'ahem' or an 'amen"....
