I would loge to have someone close by like that! I asked our 'Amish' neighbors to do that for us once and found they only did it once the first 3 days, never again! I guess I should have known better. Thankfully we have a couple of friends who are glad to stop in and do it, but it is a drive for them, so hate to ask.

It wouldn't let me quote, but thank you everyone for your condolences. I'm probably going to wait until spring for a new flock member, because I also wanted a banty cochin. So I may just get them at the same time. No I take that back because of quarentine. But I'm gonna hold off for now. So now I only have a hen and a rooster. Guess I have to edit my signature. How depressing.
