Thank You sooo much!!!!I didn't get much viewing time in at the show yesterday, I sure hope I can get back there tomorrow.. we'll see. Here are some pics, I know you wanted to see some LMP:
I realize this next one is focused on the bars (duh) but it shows his 'type' better than the other shots. Gotta love the Bantam Cochins

Man.. you are a hard seller.....she looks like Chicka..a little more copper on her neck...Chicka doesn't have shank feathers either
I know! She's really pretty. And definite dark brown eggs too. Sooo tempting.Man.. you are a hard seller.....she looks like Chicka..a little more copper on her neck...Chicka doesn't have shank feathers either, but you know..that is okay, not breeding her and to be honest, I like the 'clean' legs more anyway...not that the feathered don't look good too..i just prefer clean...
...I think she is very nice Blarney.![]()
Chickenboy100, the turkey should still be there, he was not 'displaying' when I saw him, thought I'd get a picture later, but then had to leave in hurry. There were quite a few good looking turkeys at the show. I wonder if the Champion Turkey from the Farm Show is the same one that was Show Winner at the Lebanon County Fair….Anyone know?

Nothing like Mother Nature whipping your *** and putting you in your place.
I slipped, like in an old three stooges movie, both feet straight up in the air and flat on my back. I am laying in 2 degree weather laughing at myself. HA! I get up and check on my girls and the home depot water supply that was supposed to stay warm turned into an orange 5 gallon lollipop with all frozen nipples.
There was still water in the other heated waterer which is just a plastic rectangular bowl. It was low and needed refilled. So I walk 350 feet back up the hill and get more water. I came back down even more cautiously and still managed to fall again and roll down the hill with a gallon milk container of water. I was freakin frozen down there.
I got up went to the coop and put the water in the bowl. I grabbed my chair and stepped into the coop and sat inside with them to warm up a bit. All 24 of us just sitting there looking at each other. Me in my chair and them in there roosts.
Aquarium heaters! Clever. Now does the water leak or dribble much when the chickens are drinking? I've never had these kind of waterers, and read that it could be an issue...is it?I couldnt help laughing reading your post....sounds like my adventures when I dont wear my cleats on my shoes, here my waters I use with aquarium heaters and they never freeze upNothing like Mother Nature whipping your *** and putting you in your place.
