Anyone Do Dubbing? How do they not bleed to death and can u do wattles as well? my ccl wattles are weird looking and they are shaking them around and rubbing them on their chests.

Sally:

My CCL roo is having similar troubles....I needed to move him inside and medicate...he had frostbite in his comb and wattles and the wattles were swollen...and maybe other stuff going on???...Currently he's doing much better but isn't ready to move back outside just yet....mine is still shaking his head quite a bit but less than before...also he was refusing to bend over to eat, so I elevated his food and water....

not to be the arm chair vet, but you might consider some antibiotics for your CCLs, if you think we are experiencing similar issues....

Quote: Cutting yourself? I use them for chick feeders or sometimes in quarantine. The M n Ms in it is making me a tad bit nauseous as I associate chicken feeders with poo (they always seem to have just a little bit on there somewhere).

sally, I found quite a few articles on pinterest about dubbing, some have pictures, my kind of instruction
yea me too ONLY if health calls for it. not a hard thing to do just stupid other than health but thats me.

I do want to know WHY they do dubbing on OEGames for show? because they fight and get screwed up?

Quote: ya, the trouble is if the infection builds inside, it swells and can go into the blood stream. I would feel much more comfortable chopping them off and treating a CLEAN disease free cut than a baccterial ridden one. Its pouring and I havent gotten out to let everyone out yet. I may take tylan injections with me

Finishing up hatching!

I havent counted, they dont stay still lol

CCL, WFS and Serama in the other bator.

brooders warming!
