Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

From what I've read, pigeon are easy to raise, they take care of themselves. With your barns I'm surprised you don't have some. It should be easy to build a spot for them to nest. They are said to go out and feed and come back on their own, just provide roosts and nest boxes.

I do that is what makes me think of that dish all the time,,, but I can not get to the top of that old silo, afraid it might fall down...and everytime I ask hubby for a few,, well let's just say there's not enough left.

I have hundreds of them, they crap on everything, catching them alive is another story....and other than the field crops, I have no idea what they are eating.

I have to wonder if we put both places together how well we could survive without grocery stores

Now a bird that kills your chickens is simply referred to as a hawk. But a hawk describes any bird that is a predator. I'm wondering if anyone knows what actual species of birds are hawks in the Pennsylvania area

hawks I only see a couple a year...
right here is my number one predator,,,I now have a trapper that takes care of them every year, he gets a few each season
