Good for you! I cleaned out 2 pens on Saturday. A few hours later I checked and they were busy bathing and relaxing in the new hay. It's nice to see contented chickens. I was uncomfortably cold, but they seemed quite happy in their feather coats. Made all the work worthwhile.
Your birds will appreciate your effort.
