I saw a ton of geese flying north yesterday. I haven't seen any robins yet. I usually start seeing them at the end of February. So it's soon!

Friday I saw at least 10 robins, all in one patch of lawn. I did a double take because their territoriality is legendary. To be fair, there was a *lot* of bickering going on, maybe the large number spread out the aggression, like I see happen a lot in aquarium fish.

Or maybe they dumping on their leader for getting them back too soon

If I were them, I'd turn right around and go back south.

I will be sending an order in to sandhill for the april 29th hatch...

If anyone wants to add to the order let me know....I can not be held responsible for any that do not make it though...you all know how shipping chicks can be......pick up would have to be within the week of delivery...

my order will consist of 10 assorted dorking, 5 buckeye, and 10 assorted bantam....keep in mind that they limit the number on any one breed..

I will when I know exactly what I'm planting and where. I have so many things to grow this year and in larger quantities than I ever have. I may just lace the ugly treeline in fromt of my house with some pretty, colorful flowers just for the fun of it. Sprinkle packets in places and just let em' go.
