Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Sorry for the poor contrast, this is from my cell phone. The one on the left is the wellie pullet egg, the other is a red star (i think)
Heather, have they ever gone broody? I'm going to need some broodies next year, as I don't think an incubator is in the pocketbook with the wedding and all.
Nice coloring!!!

I figured something out today. I don't like bantams. I have some lovely looking birdies. Splash and Silver Laced Cochins. There is nothing "wrong" with them, I just like LF. I might make a post later on the BST thread but for now they are free.

well tell me more!! I am just getting started with bantam cochins and I am loving them!

They are not old enough to be broody. They were hatched 5/4/12. I am not sure how many are hens, I know for sure that 3 are roosters.

They were hatched on 05/04/2012 there is 1 Splash rooster, 1 Splash ?????, 2 Silver Laced roosters, 1 Silver Laced ?????? They are all beautiful chickens. Perhaps even show quality. I just don't have a place to put them were the roosters won't mix, and I don't want them making EE with my Ameraucanas. I originally got them for my daughter. She has no interest in them. Can you believe that. She goes right for the large fowl ones. Just like her mama I guess. I have someone that might be interested, but no commitments. First come first serve.

You're welcome to use my incubator! ;)

Unless you're WAY away from State College....AND, I do have two extra incubators up here if you would like to borrow one?

I'm south-west of Harrisburg, about 90 minutes from State College...but I may take you up on borrowing one...maybe....let's see how my chicken math goes in the spring.
