Quote: Might be just one eye not sure she isn't acting right. I brought her inside, she has food and water but acted like she didn't know they were there till she stepped into the feed dish (which thankfully is secured to the cage). After stepping into the feed dish and finding the feed she started to eat.... Worried about what to do, if I can do anything for her...
I would just keep her inside and observe for a couple days,,,make sure she eats and drinks..

I have a question about a possibly blind bird. Has anyone ever delt with this issue?

both eyes or just one,,, I have an EE rooster who is missing one eye.

Working on it. Thanks... I am not giving up on her yet.. Might she ha e been pecked on the head at some point and gotten brain damage? I did have my big frizzle roo in with them because my two roos who have been together from the start decided to try to tear each other apart a few weeks ago.

Sorry it's just so frustrating when one of your favorites is not acting right..

It's still snowing in the Poconos. I am so glad that hubby and the boys ( I couldn't help much besides hand screws) build the little roofs over the runs. This is my silkie coop roof. The silkie run roof we built.

My layers huddled in the dry, snow free spot from the roof.

My garden has a 4 foot fence and its covered in snow some spots the snow is over the fence. It's still snowing out.

Ms. Sally trying to get a drink. We had to shovel a path for her to get to the water dish in all the snow.

Looks good. My birds (exception the one being in the house) are doing the same thing. Lol Ducks and goose on the other hand, are loving the weather. And yes it is snowing here in York too.. Pssst. It can stop and go away any time now, I won't be offended... lol

We all pretty much have the same... My cats stick to the paths now. They found out the hard way that they almost disappear if they jump into the snow banks. Lmbo Had to rescue a few that sunk down in and were having trouble getting out. This is my oldest sons cat, Shark.... Don't ask why he picked that name.. lol
