About the chemicals........................I totally agree!

I think its what behind so much illness now in our world.

we have been "processing" too much food in ways that are very unnatural for  primarily convenience sake................and our health may be suffering.

I have read on many sites................that we should go back to cooking like our grandmothers did..............

meat---veggies------home cooked ------------not so much out of a box and zapped.

I am guilty of the easy cooking foods..........and am trying to do better.

I am hoping my veggie garden will also help me this year.

Plus------the GMO and pesticides etc on seemingly healthy foods.........is worrisome.

We cant worry so much that we don't do anything or have a worry problem..........but little forward steps might make a difference..............

I am reading and learning about which fruits and veggies are healthier -----due to chemicals ..........etc than others.............

With everything I have read lately, I am glad my microwave isn't working. I have been making food the "old fashioned"way for some time now.

I am going to west York Agway this Friday for chicks! Or at least to order what I want. Speckled Sussex..

Fertile Emu Eggs (Westminster )

Fertile emu eggs for sale or trade, it's almost the end of the laying season, this is the first year my emus have started laying and I have had very high hatch rates. Asking $40 an egg or 10 eggs for $30 each, open to all trades as well, let me know what you have.
I'd love to try, but have no use for an emu. But it would be fun!

Hi from Chester Co. Charlestown Twp. If you like Pickering Valley Feed, go to Gardners Landscape Nursery right down the road..great family owned place! We may have a backyard chicken seminar this spring/summer if I can get enough interest...I bought 5 of my chickes at Pickering and they are wonderful two years later:)

Please let me know if you do it I am in West Chester and would love to go
