I always had meat breeds of duck before, these khaki's are my first attempt for eggs.

today is going to be really busy for us. We have a birthday party that's a half hour away for a couple hours so that drains 4 hours of our day. This house has like no food in it so after the party, we have to do some grocery shopping. This morning is laundry since I've been slacking lol. The only ones that are going to get to enjoy this day are the kids lol
 
I'm so proud of my "babies"! They figured out how to work the nipple waterer this morning. Now Thera about six of them surrounding it, taking turns pecking it and chasing drips that fall lol. It's turned into a game.
 
I would love the 2 Silkies but have nothing to trade. I'm just getting started. I'm planning to get more Silkies and maybe a couple of Frizzle Cochins. I would love a Showgirl, but they are hard to find.

I can not help it, I have this image of you and relatives, to sum it up think about that tv show with all the stills out in the woods.........on second thought, hold on I will be right over..
