Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Oh my gosh, a friend of mine, her mother just sent me a text. Seems as though she was told that I was still looking for eggs. They are collecting a dozen for me. I don't want to be rude or hurt their feelings... What do I do? Just graciously take the eggs, and then do what? Try to fit them in with all the ones I already have for the hatch a long?

Times for EGG TETRIS!!!!

i must head out the door to work,,,,,is it pathetic when I enjoy going to work just to avoid the headache and stress of home life lately,,,,,,,

put those hats and gloves on today while doing chores, i froze doing them, guess i should not have put my winter stuff away...

you hit that one,,,, as you all know we do not own the farm, but we are on the deed,,,the township is cracking down on alot of rural issues, and everytime we try to challenge a bill that they send us, we are told it is our bill since we are on the deed of the property,,, I assure you we do not own or control the property, we just pay the taxes as rent,,,,we do not even know how we got put on the deed since we never signed anything

Wing:

DH said it correct, my opinions are just my understandings that are not comprehensive...what I would do is contact your local county clerk who manages the deeds/titles....and see what is on the deed....to add your name on the deed by any measure, you'd have to have signed legal documents....and even then you might have an interest in the property(name on deed) and not direct ownership/responsibility....

It could be they are coming to you for payments because you've made tax payments in the past...(making a payment doesn't make you the owner...)..,you need to know what the deed says and then need to get an attorney...I would suggest you need to start communicating by certified mail and requesting certified mail from whoever is billing you...two cents from the arm chair general....

I looked at the deeds and messaged Wing. Up to her to disclose what ownership or not there is. I don't know how the county bills for trash removal, here it is contracted by resident, not billed to the property. Septic would be a legislative thing also, maybe mandatory every 3 years like it is here. But it is on owner to contract that individually also, at least here, it is. I guess the Sewage Enforcement Officer would be the person to contact. Mostly, though, that is for new construction in my experience.

After being at work all day I can't wait to get home to see my chickies! Yesterday, I found on ON TOP of the dog crate, one of my chooks sitting there. I need to put a box on top of it now I guess. Still can't get overe how big they grow. It needs to get warm.... Fast!
