I'm not even going to tell y'all how many babies I have running around, currently hatching/in lockdown or stuffed into my bators....and still in the mail or being shipped soon.

anyone want them? I got rid of 5 POL birds yesterday because I didn't have space. And 30 in the brooder. And 23 eggs in hatcher, and 50 in incubator ( not counting the turkey) and a couple dozen going in this weekend. Lol

I would but i live in northern Ireland so i cant :/ :(

Thanks. I try hard to keep them all healthy and here is my payment for my efforts. I also don't breed from the week and sickly, so that should make a difference too.

Just to poke some fun at you...(no avarice intended) the weird thing about genetic mutation is that dormant genes of what may be deemed a 'weak chook', may be the key to a better line...Fisher has built a broody line of chooks that have great temperaments...show folk have different objectives and survivability is another objective.....my two cents.....

In my younger year I went every Friday. We had a farmette and the wife never knew what I would bring home next.Back in the 80's I bought 100 broilers there 1st week in March for $4.Didn't know much back then and used 1 lamp for them all.The 1st night I lost 50.Kinda blessing as those other 50 ate me out of house and home till I took them to be butchered 8 weeks later!
Now I get there every once and a while.Must keep my hands in my pockets!

Is the weather safe for planting Lima beans?

Definitely too early, you need to wait until the danger of frost is past. They are like tomatoes and corn, they like it hot. These are just starting to flower on June 22.
