Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

I do believe there is a rule that after a certain point we don't even have keep track!:thumbsup ...hahaha... **I think the other broody(Ginger) is "cured" of her issue...she was out this morning with the others...looking not sullen as yesterday. I am still keeping the "sponge" nest box in there, i did add the other nest box for the other hens. Hopefully this is the end to that particular saga... Hen-Bree & chicks did very well through the night in their new 'coop'-nest. So relieved that situation has calmed and everyone is content again.:thumbsup
Let the girls out for a little yard time..they enjoyed it until I went in the house for 1 minute, Hubby was outside..supposed to be watching chickens...and I come out to seeing Ginger in the garden scratching at my newly sprouted leaf lettuce seeds!!:barnie ....I don't know who to put in the pot first!!:he Things are okay...got some of the seedlings back into the dirt..hahaha.. These little storms can be intense ..geesh! ...Have a wonderful night, sure is beautiful out right now!!:love Ana helped me cut and organise coupons today:rolleyes: .. but it became too much for her....
My girls are enjoying free ranging too, but we will definitely need a fence around the garden. Little boogers are enjoying a salad of romaine, spinach, and snap pea shoots. I chase them out of the garden several times a day like a crazy woman. :smack

a so called cell just left here, our dogs aren't normally afraid of storms, this time both of them were right under my feet, the one leaning against my legs, that was fun, trying to cook supper with two dogs under my feet, had to call bill in so they would leave me alone and pester him.
never saw such bad lightening as tonight.

I KNOW the neighbors have to think I am crazy..I can only imagine what it looks like out there, with "herding" the birds and clapping telling them to "git"...hahahha, I would think I am crazy

Me out in the yard chasing ducks, geese & meaties back from the shared driveway...neighbors standing shaking their heads & rolling their eyes. Yep, typical day around here.

Feel Better LMP! I hope everyone near the storms stays safe, doesn't look like we're getting any.

I feel your pain with the garden. I really thought I could keep the. Out with the 7 foot wildlife netting, but....not so much. I chase them out several times a day too. There was a group that got themselves stuck INSIDE the garden fence after dusk tonight. Jeez!

GavinMcCloskey, welcome! Stake and I are from Ridley, so pretty familiar with Delco.

These are leather britches...aka.. dried green beans..

I remember helping my aunt every summer when we went to Georgia, so maybe it is just a southern thing...but it was fun and something I would like to pass to the grandkids....they also came out rather tasty but I was a kid and have no idea how she cooked them....
