Not sure who said what, I just read 6 pages.
To the person in litiz looking for eggs, I work in lititz, right up the road from the airport, I can run transport if needed.

My Muscovy eggs often hatch all over the scale from about 31 days to 37, always thought it was just my incubator, I also hatch them at 55% humidity most of the time, they tend to catch me off guard,

Stake, I only wish I could cook like that, I was to busy being the tomboy growing up, never thought learning how to cook would be important...but I do have lots of scars to prove that I had fun.

I just hatched 4 of your scovies. 2 hatched at 37 days, the other 2 at 38 days. My anconas tend to be really sensitive to my bator temps too. They range 27-33 days most of the time.

wing, if Jen in Lititz wants the SFH eggs from CC, that would be perfect. No one would have to travel much out of their way. We should have a name for this, the "poultry express" or something. 5 weeks ago, blarney carried eggs from you to me and those are the Muscovies that are hatching now.

Jen is also the person that hatched and raised the Lavender Ameracauna roo that troyer just posted a picture of a few posts back. That roo and his brothers were her kids and broody hen's "project" last year. I helped move that roo from her place to his.

Wow, everyone on here is so neighborly!

Yes, transport would help so much! Thanks for the offer!

Should I add the eggs that the broodies are on....

12 buckeye:confused:
And 40 possibles.

Exactly and it works well!

Haven't caught up on the thread yet, about 100 posts behind. I was considering suffering through the all natural eating contest that Wing has subjected herself to, and then I realized that Moon Pies aren't on the 'ok list'. so....I'm out. I'm glad you like the OE boy, would love to see pics of him all grown out.

I hatched a whole slew of eggs for a customer who wasn't really worried about breed. She hasn't come to pick up her chicks, and my hatch was a bit more successful than I had thought. I'm going to post these on Craig's list, but thought I'd post a pic here too, just in case. They're mostly a group of barnyard mixes. I have my BCMs boy covering my main coop so ALL of the chicks are either black or blue, the hens are BCMs, BLRW, Imported English Orps, ect... so there are some pure BCMs in there. Any local interest, please PM me. My zip code is 19375.

Also had a trade fall through on a few 9 week old Turkey Poults (SS eggs) I've got 2 or three of them.

The Beltsville eggs showed up at the same time as the sister in law from north Carolina so I am thinking they came with her, the buckeye are from eBay..
I hope she handled those turkey eggs better han the PO.

I also got really strange looks from her, is it not normal to get all excited over a dozen eggs.

We travel by car for 2 hours each way for eggs... we get excited about them too.
In fact that is what we are doing right now...

Thank you Troyer
I can now tell hubby that troyer gave me the neighborly advice of setting more eggs since my numbers are way behind...
Doubt he will fall for that but it is worth a try....
CC, you heard him , right,....you can back me up on this.

Blarney, I will get some pics of him today, he still has a lot of growing to do, but he is always the gentlemen, since he refuses to stay caged he better stay that way, I have egg customers that pet him.

And I have incentive to make that diet work for a month, IHATE WORKING THE TOBACCO FIELD...
