Last night I had a dream that I 'lost' my girls and in the dream some of them came home with injuries and feathers missing and another one with a broken leg. I live in the suburbs and the biggest threat my girls face is next door's, very old, overweight cat who watches them from his yard with total disinterest while sunning himself.

Not to make this all about me, but I am just trying to portray that I cannot imagine what you must be going through and I have read so many horror stories on BYC, probably why I had that dream!

I am in awe of the strength that you all show in not letting the predators get you down and the determination to beat them! Hang in there Roseschickies, I hope you find and save some of your chickens and kick that foxes $%#@ into extinction!

What happened? thats so sad....I can hook you up with some olive egger or mixed breed hatching eggs....I also have an extra baby roo if you could use him....
 
OK..strange looking visitor in the yard this evening. Hanging around our teenagers... sorry this is not the best shot.
Any ideas?
