Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

I have easter eggers and just got an incubator id live to try out lol. If you want me to hatch out a couple for you. They'd most likely be olive eggers though as my roo is a black copper marans lol.

I would hate to have you incubate just for me since I am only interested in easter egger hens. I am also only looking for birds that are fully feathered, as cute as chicks are I don't want to do the baby chick stage. If you do decide to hatch some out and want to keep them until they are bigger, I am interested. I do consider your feed and time put into them and have no problem paying extra.

What a beautiful group! :love

I am getting rid of this rooster, do any of you want him? $20 because of his color, which is a version of Lemon Blue.

Here is my tomato table.
18-2x3's and two fence panels cut in half plus some screw's and wire ties to hold it together. I have six plants in it. Should last a few years, the legs are on bricks to slow rotting.

Just thought I'd offer. In that case, I won't be allowed to incubate until spring since the bunny is hogging the big brooder for the time being lol.

Speaking of Oreo, time for her play date with the chickens :)

Woke up late which means the chickens/ducks got out late. Someone are 2 duck eggs. And this was in the chicken nesting pox...what would cause blood? Should I be concerned? Not sure which leghorn it was who laid this.

I'm up to egg 7. Today's was speckled, so maybe from a different bird? All of them have been laid in the mid to late afternoon. Is this normal? I don't know why I thought they laid in the morning.
Most if my girls lay in the morning, but they are new layers and didn't start out that way. They will regulate eventually! I seem to be getting 4-5 eggs a day consistently, out of 6 hens, one of which is still broody.

For everyone who was following my kitten updates, I'm happy to report that Ivan has gone to his new home. He was adopted by a young couple tonight who accepted the challenge to help him heal and grow mentally :)
Glad for you and Ivan!

If I could have a roo, I would take him. He's gorgeous!

No idea, but that's crazy!

Just put my broody hen in the "new" repurposed broody breaker. I used our extra large dog crate and zip tied extra netting to the bottom so her feet wouldn't fall through (she's a bantam mix). Also have it raised up about a foot off the ground for air circulation. Hopefully she kicks out of it in a few days. She's been at it for a few weeks now. Any other tips would be appreciated. Wish me luck! :fl
