well..i am the party pooperI need advice. We want to move in the future, and want to know where is the best place to move that allows livestock and tax wise. Right now where we live, we pay a ton in taxes. We are on 1 acre and have a small house and pay $4000 a year in taxes. (and the heat in the school doesn't work and they don't have money to fix it BS) If you could give me examples like where you are and how much land and how much you pay in taxes it will help us narrow down where we want to go. It's getting too crowded here and we want to raise livestock, like raise a pig or 2 and maybe some cattle.
Speaking of cattle, anyone raise miniature cattle? How loud are they? (Hubby wants to know lol)
We were in the car together for ages driving down to pick up some fresh pork today. Made hubby really want to move so we can do our own.
Hello & WelcomeHi there!! Any Japanese bantams available in PA?
Tom, my injured Cock Bird is in the garage, for warmth and quarantine, he's holding up ok. He's a Black Copper Marans. .

Have you tried any of that canned chicken?
We are waiting on what you think of it.....some of those birds would of been tough any other way, wondering if canning made a difference
I was wondering too....Anyone got bobwhite quail in PA?
uh huh..and WHERE are YOU keeping said Buffalo?...cause I don't have that much room, sorryI think I just broke some kind of record!!
Dh pointed out a buffalo. In under an hour, I got him to agree to raising buffalo!!
Yes, I know their needs (minimum 10 to a herd, and 15acres a head) but he agreed, and that is the victory!!
