It was SO moist and tender! Thanks again Wing!

That looks awesome..
How long does it cook, does it take longer since it is solid meat.
Never been brave enough to try the to debone...in this house hey won't eat it if they can not identify it.

It took a little over an hour @ 350, not too bad, but it was a small bird. Just click the video link I posted a few posts back. Very good explanation of deboning.

It's 60 degrees, 5:30 am, and I'm awake. Not sure how this new shift is going to go, my body is so accustomed to night time.

It is so weird! It is so warm I'm not quite sure what to do today!

Good morning

It is very hard to type and reply with a parrot trying to make a nest on your head and rip your glasses off. This actually happens a lot.

In chicken news, my possible Roo Silkie was making what sounded like an egg song this morning. Fingers crossed! It could have been the predator warning though, not sure. It sounds very similar.

try amazon and see what they have

Yes, Amazon, eBay and walmart.com are my "go to" places for bargains. For heated water dishes, the online pet and vet supply places (Jeffers for ex) might have them also.

I love the heated water dishes. They seem much safer and more economical to operate than the homemade ones. I like that they have a thermostat built in and only run when needed. All last winter, they never froze up, even when outside in the run and exposed to some pretty cold temps.

I installed 7 of them in the last few weeks. Still have 2 more to hook up, then we should be covered for the winter, as long as the power lasts, anyway.
