I wonder if there is residual alcohol that would make the livestock drunk. Not sure I could tell if the goat was drunk, LOL
My brother-in-law feeds it to his dairy cows with no ill after effects.

We brew beer and feed the grain from the mash to our chickens. Its prior to the start of fermentation, so no alcohol. They go crazy for it.
 
We grow potatoes every year, white and sweets, even though I eat a very limited amount of them and our daughter doesn't eat white ones. Tonights success, homemade mini batch of potato chips. I'll take little victories! Next is egg yolks.

It's been since October since I got my Silkie. I was told it was about 20 weeks old at that point. Still hasn't crowed. Fingers crossed!

Crowing isn't the only behavior to look for..I had a Showgirl boy....took him a long time to crow, but he was urging the girls to come eat at scratch he had 'found'...my two cents
