Unpasteurized milk of any kind is illegal to sell for human consumption. Once pasteurized it's legal to sell. Modt small breeders do not have a means to pasteurize properly. Silkies...every flock must contain at least 1 silkie.

I agree, I was not a fan of Silkies, until I had one. Everybody loves them, because they are so fluffy and different.
not a fan of tableclothes but this one I can live with for awhile.
Cool! Would you believe I only have 3 dozen eggs left? I gave away 4 dozen and ate another dozen. I think I need a subscription plan until my girls get into gear. Do you provide extra light for yours?

Oh yeah, I could definitely fit a goat or 8 in that baby.... But how do I trick DH into picking it up for me?

@Stake, when my girls start laying again, you give the word and I'll hatch some Orps for ya.

Has anyone seen this book yet? I got it a couple years ago. I love chicken and it actually has some good recipes in it. And it's just hilarious...

searched and found it on amazon, you can get it as a set also with this book, think I just found someone's birthday present.

all jokes aside, I looked at the preview and this looks like a really good book to use all those older roosters....there's a triple book collection also, that pairs up the veggies with the chicken.
