Stake, I hatched a few EE mixes but was trying to Sexlink mu JG roo w my barred girls. Seems to have work so I just put a larger batch of eggs. I hatched a lot of black EE chicks I think they will be hard to tell who's a boy for a while.

I am trying to find a feed I can mix 50/50 scratch grains. Hoke mills didn't seem like they wanted to order it for me, but we will see if they call me back. I just found online that agway feeds sells one that is similar. But when I checked the dealer locator it has nothing close to me that sells it. Anyone know where I could find these or something similar?
I live in York county, and travel to Lebanon once a month so needs to be close.
Thanks

Hi everybody. I am new on year and just started our chicken coop yesterday. Would anybody know a local place in the philadelphia area to get some food for my girls? Thanks for your help.

Welcome ! Welcome! I live in Bucks County right above you. We have a few places to get feed out here if you don't mind the drive from the city. There is also agway in Burlington, NJ, but they don't have much as far as chicken stuff goes, mostly feed.

Some of them will roost as high as they can. It helps when they aren't free ranging on a daily basis. Last summer I had some that were so determined to roost outside in the trees, that I ended up just giving them a covered run instead of free ranging. It is not unusual for them to begin laying at 5 months.
Is she about full size at 20 weeks, or will she continue to grow? She seems so petite compared to my other girls. I wasn't able to see your chickens in person, so I have nothing to compare her to.
Took some pictures of my new babies :love
That looks like one happy broody!
