wHi everybody. I am new on year and just started our chicken coop yesterday. Would anybody know a local place in the philadelphia area to get some food for my girls? Thanks for your help.
Is she about full size at 20 weeks, or will she continue to grow? She seems so petite compared to my other girls. I wasn't able to see your chickens in person, so I have nothing to compare her to.Some of them will roost as high as they can. It helps when they aren't free ranging on a daily basis. Last summer I had some that were so determined to roost outside in the trees, that I ended up just giving them a covered run instead of free ranging. It is not unusual for them to begin laying at 5 months.
That looks like one happy broody!
