The rooster came when I shook the treat container. I was outside the fence, but he did come! Small victories.

Quote: it had ice on it with about 10 minutes,,,It doesn't seem to be to bad, my main concern is it is right over a previous surgery scar for fibrous dysplasia..
i am no stranger to doing stupid things that result in injury...but I do admit to treating myself when I shouldn't![]()
will have to wait and see what it looks like tomorrow
basically I walked into the trailer hitch, just for a tractor....only I am short and it hits above the knee....I feel really stupid

Hello, my name is Brat, and I am a chickaholic. I began chicken keeping about four years ago...
When RM(newbies, Fisherlady's husband is Radioman. He isn't on here much) said about letting them know if I ended up with two roosters, I figured I would handle it if it happened. As long as the girls were okay, I wouldn't care. Then this morning I had the bright idea that if another turned out to be a rooster, I could just put him in another coop, and get him some girls of his own. I began hoping for another rooster. It's started already.

We can fix you up with more... just give me about 8 weeks to work on collecting, hatching and having the hens brood the chicks! LOLHello, my name is Brat, and I am a chickaholic. I began chicken keeping about four years ago...

Filling coops for others is a great hobby! No one here has anything to fill your next coop.
Oh wait, I might have a few extra....
Welcome back to the great world of chicken math! We've missed you!
Watched the neighbors ducks over the weekend and collected ten eggs I didn't have a use for.
They're on day 4. Mixed breed, I think. Someone (wingstone?) will take them if they hatch. I don't want waterfowl.
Quote: duck eggs are edible, you could have made an awesome meal...just joking, they are just as edible afterwards
I will have to send eggs up for MC from the Hedemora..have LMP stop for some when she is down this way.
