So........does anybody know how to or have any tips for converting a working washing machine into a chicken plucker?

Don't the more expensive models come with a "chicken plucking" cycle?

I put Penelope back out in her coop last night. I thought that maybe being in a familiar environment (away from barking dogs) she would feel safer. She still is walking like a penguin and I still feel like an egg shaped lump by her vent. This morning she was walking around outside and eating. Poor thing. I tried what everyone said online for her, except break the egg since I can't see it in her vent and don't want her to be cut up internally. My family was tired of sharing a bathroom with a chicken and my son said just eat her already. :hit Teenagers!!!!

Aww, I hope she improves. Silly teenager... I drove right by you again today on my way to Blairstown, Nj to pick up our new parrot. :frow

x2, there was a thread somewhere, that gave the pro's and con's of a bunch of different types of bedding....

I use pine shavings too, unless I have a broody sitting on eggs, then u add straw to she can arrange it how she likes. :D
