I am at work but we were blessed to wake up and find this little Thanksgiving present from Gracie!...we didn't realize when we gave her eggs that her due date would be Thanksgiving but were cool with it when we realized it. Will need to go with some pilgrim names.

Thanks! She only has 3 eggs this time, this one was just an overachiever and showed up a few hours early...hoping it's a pullet, it's mom is another of our best broodies. Time will tell.

Update on my sick chicken. I think she has turned the corner. I don't know whether she had blackhead or a lash egg, but she seems to be perking up. She was showing more interest in food yesterday and was generally more alert.

Today I put her back outside with the girls, we were fortunate to have weather in the 60's so I figured it was a good time to try it out. They had some spats, but she was fighting back for sure. She is no longer poofy or lethargic. She is movi around, and I can hardly tell the difference from her sister. She was just now taking a dust bath also. Fingers crossed that she is truly better.
